The making of Profi
We love making health products fun and easy to use. But, we take science super seriously. In fact, Profi was invented by world-class scientists from Harvard Medical School and MIT.
started with a need
When the pandemic hit, our scientists were part of a working group at a Boston-based health system to come up with a backup plan in case the system ran out of n95 masks. We started by reducing a problem to its essence and maximizing the practicality of a solution.
Driven by science
The air you breathe matters!
The pandemic taught us that the nose is the main entry point for germs capable of causing colds and respiratory problems. Contaminated droplets can be released and spread through the air and indoor ventilation systems when a sick individual coughs, sneezes, or even talks. Hand hygiene is important, but what about the air we breathe? So we reimagined a solution that helps support a strong immune system by addressing the problem at the gate.
Profi is born
At the time we were already developing a nasal spray for MS that helps maximize the duration of contact with the nasal lining. We began exploring drug-free molecules, iterating across hundreds of ingredients to identify the right amounts to optimize for sprayability and effectiveness. Learn more here. The formulation took years to develop, but the years are trivial compared to the lifetime of benefit.
Real science, ensured quality
The impressive results of our groundbreaking research can be read here (link available 10/1). Further, Profi is manufactured in the USA under the cGMP to meet our specifications for purity and potency. Our manufacturing facility, warehouses, and shipping centers are inspected regularly. We are committed to transparency, so you know what you’re getting every time you buy.
Packaged with purpose
We aim to delight in everything we do, including the convenience of the spray applicator and our packaging. All our products come in user-friendly designs that support your on-the-go lifestyle. Our commitment to sustainability ensures that all our packaging is fully recyclable, reducing environmental impact. You are the driving force behind our mission, and we are committed to listening to your needs, earning your trust, and delivering products that enhance your life.
Our mission is clear - to create technologies that help people live a healthy and vibrant life.
